Wednesday was a massive day in Real Madrid’s presidential elections, with both Enrique Riquelme and Florentino Perez making major announcements.
The drama, however, peaked when Perez dropped a bomb just when Riquelme was preparing to announce his mega signing, stealing the spotlight at an opportune moment.
The bomb he dropped at that moment was indeed the manager whom he had planned for next season if he were elected back to power, and the name was not surprising in any sense.
The announcement did not come officially from Real Madrid’s end, but from the X page of Florentino Perez’s election campaign.
In a video posted on the page, Perez and Co. shared a photo of Mourinho, confirming that the Portuguese manager will indeed manage Real Madrid if he is elected president.
The Merengues have been known to have had an agreement in place with Mourinho for several weeks now, but this comes as the first official announcement.
At this point, Mourinho’s appointment is confirmed and only pending an official announcement. That too, however, does not look too far from happening.

Real Madrid’s presidential polling will be held later this week, and with the election results expected soon after, there will be clarity over the victor in less. than a well.
Once the next president of the club is decided, official announcements can be made, and Mourinho’s may be the first one to break. The only factor for that is that Perez must win, as is expected from him.
At this point, however, Mourinho is already having a big say in Real Madrid’s transfer decisions behind the scenes and is actively participating in the planning for next season.
