Florian Miguel joins Metz on a free transfer until 2028 | OneFootball

Metz have signed Florian Miguel on a free transfer, the club said on Friday, with the left-back agreeing a deal to June 2028.

The 29-year-old returns to France after five seasons abroad, having played for Huesca from 2021 to 2023, Leuven from 2023 to 2024 and Burgos from 2024 to 2026.

A mainstay at Burgos, he completed two full Liga 2 campaigns, making 80 appearances in all competitions.

Last season he recorded two goals and three assists in 40 league matches.

The move adds experience to a Metz side relegated to Ligue 2, and Miguel expressed delight at coming back to France and eagerness to begin in Moselle.
