Fluminense announced on Friday that 26-year-old goalkeeper Kemelli has signed until December 2027, after her Corinthians spell ended in 2025.
Her exit from Corinthians was confirmed by the player after a 1-0 win over Palmeiras in the second leg of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino final.
Born in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state, Kemelli returns to her home state and to the club that developed her. She came through Fluminense’s academy, then began her professional career with Criciúma at 16.
She spent five seasons with Corinthians, making 57 appearances and winning seven trophies. The spell included a strong rapport with the club’s support.
Corinthians also saw departures at the end of last season. Forward Eudimilla joined Santos, centre-back Mariza moved to Tigres in Mexico, and full-backs Letícia Santos went to Santos while Paulinha has yet to confirm a new club.
The Brabas remain in London, England, preparing for the FIFA Champions Cup. Corinthians face Gotham FC of the United States in Wednesday’s semi-final at 9:30, Brasília time.
