Fluminense XI named to face Flamengo as derby kicks off at Maracanã | OneFootball

Fluminense have confirmed their starting XI for Sunday’s clássico with Flamengo in the 11th round of the Brasileirão.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Luis Zubeldía’s starters are Fábio, Samuel Xavier, Jemmes, Freytes, Renê, Martinelli, Hércules, Lucho Acosta, Serna, Canobbio and John Kennedy.

Bench options are Victor Eudes, Ignácio, Bernal, Ganso, Savarino, Arana, Castillo, Guga, Alisson, Millán, Wesley Natã and Otávio.

There are four confirmed absences. Matheus Reis is recovering from knee surgery, Nonato has a right ankle sprain, Bernal is in transition after a right knee posterior cruciate ligament injury and Germán Cano has a muscle injury.

Flamengo are also named for the derby. Leonardo Jardim’s side list Rossi, Varela, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, Evertton Araújo, Paquetá, Arrascaeta, Plata, Samuel Lino and Pedro.

In the table, Flamengo sit seventh on 17 points and Fluminense are second with 20. Flamengo have a game in hand.

The match is at the Maracanã at 18:00 Brasília time. It was moved from Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 after a request from Flamengo.
