Nottingham Forest are understood to have rejected a proposed swap involving Dan Ndoye amid reported interest in Lorenzo Lucca.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Forest have made initial contact over Lorenzo Lucca and Napoli proposed a swap involving Dan Ndoye. Forest are said to have turned that down as they want to keep the winger. Lucca has struggled for minutes at Napoli while on loan from Udinese, with an obligation to buy in the deal and Benfica also linked.
Forest have yet to complete any January business a week into the window. Dyche has indicated it could be a slow month, though some movement is expected.
Recruiting a striker has moved up the agenda after Chris Wood underwent knee surgery. Last season's top scorer faces a lengthy absence.
Ndoye has been out recently with a minor injury. His start at Forest has been mixed, and Dyche will want sufficient wide options for the second half of the campaign.
