Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim certainly did the right thing by resorting to the services of Leny Yoro and Amad Diallo.
The Red Devils are heading towards a rebound victory at the expense of Sunderland, as they currently lead the contest by two unanswered goals. They took the lead early on through Mason Mount who produced a superb finish, while Benjamin Sesko showcased his clinical finish by flicking the ball into the net from a throw-in.
While the two scorers earned the plaudits, and rightly so, other Man Utd stars have also produced solid showings, and chief among them are Yoro and Amad, with both registering almost perfect numbers, especially in the first 45 minutes.

According to Statman Dave, Yoro reigned supreme at the back, winning 100% of his tackles against Sunderland players, while also prevailing in 100% of his aerial duels in the first half.
Despite his ‘untouchable’ status at Man Utdd, Yoro was dropped from the starting lineup after a less-than-convincing showing in the 0-3 defeat to Manchester City. Amorim opted to start Harry Maguire between Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw in the last two contests.
While this decision may have paid dividends in the win over Chelsea, it was less fruitful in last weekend’s 1-3 defeat to Brentford, with the team looking miserable at the back.
Today’s lineup also witnessed the return of Amad, who sadly had to miss last weekend’s contest due to a death in his family.
The Ivorian was fielded as a right wing-back behind Bryan Mbeumo. While this surely isn’t his ideal role, he still managed to make the difference.
The 23-year-old had an astonishing first half. He had the best passing accuracy among all players on the pitch, with a perfect 100% record. The former Atalanta man also produced the most successful take-ons (two), as well as the most chances created (two).
At this stage, it would be hard to argue against denying either Yoro or Amad a starting berth in the weeks to come, as their vital contribution is there to be seen.
