Former FCB star is certain: “Olise won’t leave Bayern” | OneFootball

The rumors surrounding Michael Olise and Real Madrid show no signs of abating. However, former Bayern pro Valérien Ismaël is convinced that the German record champions won’t let their star forward go.

Michael Olise is one of the most sought-after players in Europe. Following his strong debut season with FC Bayern and his impressive performances at the World Cup, the French national team player continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

Valérien Ismaël, however, does not believe that Real Madrid has a realistic chance of signing the 24-year-old.

Ismaël sees Bayern in a strong position

In an interview with ran, the former Bayern pro explained that the record champions are among the few clubs capable of keeping a player like Olise for the long term. “If any club in Germany can keep a player like that, it’s Bayern Munich,” Ismaël emphasized.

The 49-year-old also drew a comparison with other Bundesliga clubs.

“Dortmund, Leipzig, or other good clubs aren’t in a position to keep players like that. Bayern knows how important Olise is and won’t just let one of its key players go.”

“A player like that costs 150 million euros.”

Ismaël also made it clear what market value he now attributes to the French national team player. “A player like that is now worth 150 million euros on the market. That’s why I’m convinced he won’t leave Bayern.”

In fact, Real Madrid has been rumored for weeks to be one of the most interested suitors. At the same time, there have also been recent reports that Bayern officials have long since declared Olise “not for sale” internally.

The attacking player’s contract runs through 2029. At the same time, the Munich club is working to secure the Frenchman’s long-term commitment to the club and extend his contract early.

Even though speculation about Real Madrid continues unabated, there is currently little to suggest a departure in the near future. From Ismaël’s perspective, FC Bayern has everything it needs—both on the field and financially—to keep one of its most important players in Munich for the long term.
