Sampdoria, currently in Italy’s second division, and Celtic are reportedly interested in Aaron Malouda (20), according to L’Équipe.
The son of former French international Florent Malouda (80 caps, nine goals), the right winger is enjoying a fine season with Azerbaijani club Sabah FK, which he joined on a permanent basis last winter from Lille OSC.
Having made 27 appearances for the current Premyer Liga leaders, the Écully-born player has already proved decisive on 12 occasions, scoring eight goals and providing four assists. These performances have not gone unnoticed by several clubs, including Sampdoria and Celtic, whose officials have already begun negotiations with the former Under-19 international.
After coming through the Stade Rennais academy, Malouda had a somewhat inconclusive spell with Nîmes Olympique during the second half of the 2024–25 season, a few months after joining LOSC. Since then, he has been a regular for Les Dogues’ reserve team, though the 20-year-old has still made four appearances for the first team.
