Ex-Chiefs star banned by FIFA

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has landed in hot water with the world football governing body FIFA.
The lanky forward has been hit with a three-match suspension for his malicious display against Kenya in the previous FIFA international break.
Bimenyimana attempted to meet a cross from the right flank, only for his boot to land on the face of Harambee Stars shot-stopper Brian Bwire, who was subsequently stretchered off.
As a result, the 27-year-old was given his marching orders five minutes into the game and missed the following match against Gabon.
Now, FIFA extended the player's ban to three matches, meaning he won't be available for selection in the ongoing break for Burundi.
Meanwhile, Bimenyimana has rediscovered his form with four goals in nine appearances across all competitions for Saudi second tier outfit Jeddah SC.
