Former Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche could be an option for Tottenham Hotspur if the club decide to replace Igor Tudor. Dyche was dismissed last month after 114 days in charge.

According to The Telegraph, Spurs are set to make a call on Tudor by Monday, a delicate situation following the recent death of his father. Roberto De Zerbi is viewed as the preferred candidate but is reluctant to take over before the summer, and if that remains the case Dyche is said to be under consideration.

Forest beat Spurs 3-0 in the capital before the international break to move above them in the table. Two points now separate the sides, and Vitor Pereira’s team sit three points clear of the relegation zone. Tudor is under pressure amid poor form.

“Our current form at that time was ninth in the Premier League,” Dyche said. “From my record, from when we got there to when we ended, we’d have been 12th in the Premier League.”

He was speaking on The Football Boardroom podcast.

“So on factual data and analysis, I can’t understand any of the decisions that were made. But football is changing, and we witnessed it.”

Pereira replaced Dyche on the banks of the Trent, becoming Forest’s fourth manager of the campaign. He has since taken the Reds into the Europa League quarter-finals and up to 16th with seven games remaining.
