Former Southampton boss Ivan Juric is reportedly on the verge of becoming the new head coach of Champions League contenders Atalanta.
The former Torino and Roma tactician, 49, was let go by Southampton after the club’s relegation from the Premier League was confirmed in April.
Juric lasted just 108 days at the helm at St Mary’s, suffering defeat in 14 of his 16 top-flight fixtures, as the team teetered on the brink of a historically low points tally.
Multiple sources now claim Juric is set to take the reins at Atalanta, fresh off their 2023/24 Europa League triumph and a third-place finish in Serie A.
Juric is expected to sign a contract that runs until June 2027, bringing him to Bergamo less than two months after his 18-month agreement with Southampton was terminated.
The Croatian's sole Premier League victory came via a 2-1 win at fellow relegated side Ipswich Town in February.
