Nottingham Forest are set to replace Elliot Anderson after agreeing his move to Manchester City. An upfront £116 million fee has been mooted, a major return on a net £15 million outlay two years ago.
The 23-year-old has been central for Forest. According to Opta, he won possession 306 times in 2025/26, 94 more than anyone in Europe’s top five leagues. The Telegraph reports Forest have an interest in Christ Inao Oulai among options.
Lucas Bergvall is said to want a move amid limited minutes at Tottenham. Bayern Munich, Aston Villa and Chelsea are credited with interest in the 20-year-old, who has five years left on his deal. A £45-50 million fee has been reported.
Davide Frattesi stayed at Inter after Forest’s January move. A summer transfer appears likely, with Juventus keen and the 26-year-old valued at £26 million. Reports in Italy say he would rather remain there and he is said to dream of reuniting with Juve boss Luciano Spalletti.
Arne Engels was targeted from Celtic in January, with three bids rejected including a package worth up to £25 million. Interest remains, and Crystal Palace, Spurs, Fulham, Roma and Atletico Madrid are keen. The 22-year-old is under contract until 2028 and Celtic are said to want more than £21.5 million.
Oulai is another option, currently at the World Cup with Ivory Coast alongside Ibrahim Sangare. Sunderland, Fulham and Brentford have been linked. He joined Trabzonspor from Bastia 12 months ago in Türkiye.
