FPF sets dates, Corinthians discover Paulistão Feminino semis

The Paulista Federation announced on Monday (17th) the details of the semifinal matches of the Women's Paulista Championship. As a result, Corinthians learned the dates and times of the matches against São Paulo. Having had a better campaign in the first phase, the Brabas will play the second game at home.

The club from Parque São Jorge finished the first phase in the lead, with 35 points (11 wins, two draws, and one loss – 32 goals scored and six conceded), while the rival was fourth with 21 points. The first match between the teams will be this Saturday (22nd) at 11 am (Brasília time), with the location to be defined by the Morumbi team.

The second game, on the other hand, is scheduled for December 4th (Thursday) at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), with the location to be defined by Corinthians. Last Saturday (15th), Meu Timão reported that Corinthians is trying to change the date of the second match, as six Corinthians athletes will be serving the Brazilian and Venezuelan national teams, respectively, during the last FIFA Date of the year for the sport.

Goalkeeper Lelê, defenders Mariza and Thais Ferreira, midfielders Dayana Rodríguez, and midfielder Gabi Zanotti will play for their countries on December 2nd. The base date imposed by the tournament organizing entity was 12/03, making it impossible for the sextet to be present in the second game. Corinthians, however, acted behind the scenes and managed to reschedule the match for the 4th.

In the 2025 season, Corinthians and São Paulo have already faced each other seven times in women's football, with two wins for each side and three draws. The matches took place in the Women's Supercup, Copa do Brasil, Paulista Championship, and Brasileirão.

In the Supercup and Copa do Brasil, São Paulo ended up eliminating the Brabas. In the Brasileirão semifinals, however, the Brabas got their revenge and eliminated their rivals. The last match between the teams took place on November 1st, in the first phase of the state championship, at Parque São Jorge, and ended with a 3-1 victory for Corinthians.
