Brentford have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.

Scout will be using their expertise to provide info, advice and Gameweek tips which may prove useful in ensuring you sit on top of your mini-leagues.

Best of the Bees

Keane Lewis-Potter’s (£5.0m) FPL owners were relieved to see the defender substituted before the clean sheet was lost in Gameweek 3. This meant that he was rewarded with four clean sheet points. The defender joined Igor Thiago (£6.0m) as the Bees' highest-scoring players in Gameweek 3 with six points each.

Dango Ouattara’s (£6.0m) new army of FPL managers were disappointed to see his first-half goal ruled out for offside. The midfielder was transferred in by 185,811 managers ahead of the match against Sunderland. Since arriving at Brentford, the midfielder has had 27 touches in the final third; only Mikkel Damsgaard (£5.9m) has had more.

For the second time this season, midfielder Frank Onyeka (£5.0m) came off the bench and set up a Thiago strike. Onyeka has now registered an assist in each of Brentford’s away matches so far.

The Spotlight

Unsurprisingly, the individual who passed the ball to Onyeka was Danish playmaker Damsgaard.

It follows the accumulation of 11 FPL assists during his first season of significant Premier League game time. The 25-year-old was one of two Brentford players to finish inside the final top eight for creating chances (63).

Damsgaard has created the most chances in the Brentford team so far, despite missing Gameweek 1 due to paternity leave. He’s racked up seven penalty area touches as well.

Furthermore, he was one of six Bees to pick up FPL’s brand-new defensive contribution (DC) points during the 1-0 win over Aston Villa.

This awards two points to defenders that reach 10 or more DC actions - clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles - and attackers that reach 12, where ball recoveries are added into the mix.

Best of the Rest

Marc Guehi (£4.6m) was the top-scoring player in Gameweek 3. The defender scored and kept a clean sheet for a total of 15 points versus Aston Villa.

FPL points hauls also came for the likes of Marcos Senesi (£4.6m) and Trevoh Chalobah (£5.1m), suggesting that the introduction of DC points could see managers move back to playing four at the back more often.

Another duo to bring in double-digit scores were Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£5.0m) and Jack Grealish (£6.7m). That’s four assists in two starts since the latter arrived on loan from Manchester City.

In Demand

In-form Grealish is currently the most-bought player for FPL managers. The Toffee looks set to exceed 900,000 purchases over the course of the international break.

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (£7.4m) is proving popular once again with managers. The midfielder has already risen in price four times since the start of the season.

He was last season’s second-best for touches inside the box (212) and ranked third for shots (125), ending with two final-day goals. He repeated this brace at Anfield on 2025/26’s opening night and is about to play three of the next four matches at home, plus a visit to newly promoted Leeds.

Popular sales include the possibly injured trio of Cole Palmer (£10.4m), Matheus Cunha (£8.1m) and William Saliba (£6.1m). The Chelsea star hasn’t featured since Gameweek 1, whereas the other two were withdrawn early in Gameweek 3 and had to pull out of international duty.

Captaincy

Mohamed Salah (£14.5m) has only produced attacking returns deep into stoppage time so far this season. Still, it’s hard to ignore Liverpool’s trip to Burnley. Perhaps it’ll also be the day when Florian Wirtz (£8.4m) eventually gets off the mark, after scoring a delightful free kick for Germany.

At home to Sunderland, Jean-Philippe Mateta’s (£7.5m) owners should feel confident the centre-forward’s good form will continue. His goal at Villa Park sits alongside strikes in the UEFA Conference League and Community Shield.
