France’s 1-0 win over Paraguay sets late-night TV record on M6

Didier Deschamps’s France edged Paraguay 1-0 in the 2026 World Cup last 16 on Saturday, drawing 12.17 million viewers on M6, a French late-night TV record for a post-23:00 programme.
According to L'Équipe, the broadcast delivered an audience share near 76%.
The campaign opened on Tuesday 16 June with a 3-1 win over Senegal in prime time, which drew nearly 14 million on M6 with a 61.4% share, plus more than 640,000 on beIN Sports.
Norway-France finished 1-4 at 21:00, attracting 13.68 million viewers and a 62.1% share on M6.
France-Iraq ended 3-0 and was watched by 4.9 million, with a 63.1% share.
Their previous outing before Paraguay, a 3-0 victory over Sweden at 23:00, brought in 10.23 million viewers and a 71% share.
France face Morocco in the quarter-final in Boston on Thursday, kick-off 22:00, live on M6 and beIN Sports.
