Frankfurt trio injured as Brown travels, Collins and Bahoya sidelined | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt have injury concerns after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at 1. FSV Mainz 05, with Nathaniel Brown still set to link up with Germany as Nnamdi Collins and Jean-Mattéo Bahoya suffered injuries.

The club confirmed Brown sustained a minor calf problem, though the 22-year-old will travel for March matches against Switzerland and Ghana.

His condition is being monitored and Frankfurt remain in contact with the DFB medical staff.

Collins and Bahoya were both forced off in Mainz. Post-match assessments indicated an ankle injury for Collins and a thigh issue for Bahoya.

The pair have withdrawn from Germany U-21 fixtures and are unavailable to coach Albert Riera until further notice. Germany U-21 coach Antonio Di Salvo was aware of Collins’ setback and had been told the defender would not be able to feature.
