Frattesi unhappy at Inter, eyes Roma return in summer | OneFootball

Davide Frattesi seems to have lost his way.

After the goal against Lecce and the declarations of love for Inter, which had closed the issue related to the January transfer market, the midfielder has returned to mediocre performances, finding less and less space in Simone Inzaghi’s rotations.

Inter’s defeat against Fiorentina, which slowed down the Nerazzurri’s race for the Scudetto, has once again highlighted the player’s struggles.

The reality is that, despite the great initial enthusiasm, Frattesi is not satisfied with his use.

The former Sassuolo midfielder has collected several appearances, but rarely as a starter and always with limited minutes. For this reason, the possibility of a farewell at the end of the season becomes increasingly concrete.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma remain a possibility for Frattesi who will want a way out in the summer.

The  negotiations could reopen in the summer, with Roma ready to come forward if Inter decide to sell him.

The Giallorossi see Frattesi as an ideal reinforcement for the midfield, especially if some important exits were to materialize.

The final part of the season will be crucial to understand if Frattesi can carve out a more central role in the Nerazzurri project or if his future will be far from Milan, with Roma ready to welcome him.
