Fresh injury update on Man City defensive duo | OneFootball

Ruben Dias is being assessed after missing Manchester City’s FA Cup win over Liverpool through injury.

City assistant coach Pep Lijnders confirmed the defender suffered a knock in training on Friday and has undergone a scan.

“Ruben got a knock in the last minutes of training,” Lijnders said. “We are assessing it. I think he had a scan again so we have to see.”

Lijnders also says John Stones is not expected to be out for long after his latest injury setback.

“John, to be honest, I think he will not be long-term but he was not available,” he said.
