Frickson Erazo reaches MasterChef Celebrities final in Ecuador | OneFootball

According to Coluna Do Fla, former Flamengo defender Frickson Erazo has reached the final of Ecuador’s MasterChef Celebrities and will compete for 20,000 dollars against two influencers on Tuesday 14.

A post on the programme’s official accounts hailed his discipline and leadership as he swaps the pitch for the kitchen.

Erazo said that if he cooks as well as he controls a ball he will be fine, adding that the country would be watching and that he would emerge victorious.

The centre-back’s spell at Flamengo was brief. In 2014 he made only seven appearances, while the club needed to pay 50% of his economic rights for around US$ 3 million, roughly R$ 7 million.

At the time he was a prominent figure for Ecuador and a regular call-up to the national side. In Brazil he also played for Atlético-MG and Vasco.
