FC Bayern will play its next preseason friendly on Thursday evening. Against FC Rottach-Egern, Vincent Kompany will field a mix of pros and young talents.

After the first few days of training at the training camp on Lake Tegernsee, FC Bayern will take the field for the first time. In the traditional preseason friendly against FC Rottach-Egern, the German record champions aim to showcase themselves to the fans and gather further insights for their preseason preparations.

Kickoff is at 6 p.m. As expected, numerous stars are not yet available, as they are still on special leave following the World Cup or training individually.

Bayern lost their first preseason match of the season last Saturday, falling 1-2 to third-division side Wehen Wiesbaden.

The starting lineup has now been announced. Several first-team players will start right away, including Sven Ulreich, Joao Palhinha, Sacha Boey, Tom Bischof, Arijon Ibrahimovic, and Armindo Sieb. The team is rounded out by numerous young talents from the Bayern Campus who are looking to earn more playing time.

New signing Nathaniel Brown will start on the bench, along with Manuel Neuer, Jonas Urbig, Jonathan Tah, Joshua Kimmich, Hiroki Ito, and Aleksandar Pavlovic. Bara Ndiaye is also part of the squad.
