From Greece: Roma launch talks with Georgios Vagiannidis  | OneFootball

Roma have reportedly set their sights on Georgios Vagiannidis.

According to the Greek portal prasinoforos.gr, the Giallorossi have launched talks for the Panathinaikos right-back and are now preparing their first bid.

Born in 2001, Vagiannidis has been one of the protagonists of the season of the Athenian team, attracting the interest of several European clubs.

Among these, Sporting CP have already tried to make a concrete move, but the offer of 8 million euros was sent back to the sender.

In fact, Panathinaikos have made it known that it does not want to consider offers lower than 12 million euros to let its talent go.

Roma have reportedly been closely monitoring the player’s latest performances, convincing themselves of the soundness of the investment.
