The Colón leadership is actively searching for a new head coach after deciding to bring Ezequiel Medrán’s tenure to an end following the recent defeat against Chaco For Ever. Although the club’s top brass is handling several alternatives with strict secrecy—with names such as Lucas Pusineri emerging as an early front-runner, albeit with a family issue that requires him to remain in Buenos Aires—Javier Sanguinetti is also on the list of coaches being evaluated to take tactical charge of the team.

Legend as a footballer: Nicknamed “Archu,” he played as a center back and is an institution at Banfield, the club where he became the player with the most appearances in the club’s history, surpassing 400 professional matches.
