Liverpool are set to receive further investment from FSG.
Some people hate them. Some people love them. FSG are a bit like marmite. Except for the fact that you simply cannot deny that the club's North American owners have completely transformed the Reds since they took over.

Without FSG, Liverpool were flirting with relegation under Roy Hodgson. FSG came in and Liverpool are now one of the best teams in Europe having attracted some of the best footballers in the world.
Those are results you cannot argue with. Even for all the FSG critics they have to accept that these are facts.
Liverpool have become much better and much stronger both on and off the pitch since FSG's takeover.
And there's more investment along the way.

Obviously, fans will mostly just look at player purchases as a barometer of FSG's investment. There's no denying, except for this summer, Liverpool haven't spent as much as their rivals.
But this is because FSG want to create a sustainable model at the club. They want Liverpool to prosper without them. Something previous owners neglected and that almost cost the Reds.
If people remember the days of Hicks and Gillett, Liverpool almost went into administration under their previous ownership because of the debt they had accrued.
FSG saved the club and then they went on about building a dynasty appointing key figures in the recruitment department to recreate the moneyball model that worked so effectively in baseball.
On top of that, FSG have also transformed the club's facilities. They moved away from the dilapidated Melwood training ground and built the modern state of the art AXA Training Centre, which is modelled on some of the best training facilities in the world.
Now they are going to add even more investment into the club to improve the Reds' academy facilities.
This is according to a report from The Athletic which claims that Liverpool are going to embark on a £20m development of their academy - the biggest redevelopment since it opened in 1998.
Liverpool hope to complete the project by 2028 with several plans made to improve the training pitches and the facilities around the academy.
The piece also details how FSG recognise the contribution of the academy to the club's success over the last few years. And now they are repaying that success by this mega investment that will only make the club stronger.
