A tough start awaits the new manager
Fulham will begin the Premier League season with a new face in the dugout following the departure of manager Marco Silva.
Silva last week confirmed this Craven Cottage exit after five years in west London, opting against extending his expiring contract to return to his homeland of Portugal to replace Jose Mourinho at Benfica.
Fulham are yet to appoint Silva’s successor - with Alvaro Arbeloa heavily linked after leaving Real Madrid - but the new man will face a tough start at home to Chelsea in a west London derby.
It is part of a rather difficult opening run for the club to kick off the new campaign, with games against Liverpool and Manchester United before the September international break.
Fulham’s second London derby of the season will see them renew rivalries with Crystal Palace on September 5 and then again on March 13, while they take on north London foes Tottenham on December 2 and
The traditional festive period will see Fulham host Brighton on Boxing Day and Premier League champions Arsenal on December 30. Their first game of 2027 is away at Nottingham Forest, and the season concludes with a trip to Manchester United.
