Fulham sign Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios | OneFootball

Fulham have completed the double signing of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid, with both Spanish youngsters joining the Premier League club on five-year deals..

Garcia arrives in west London after enjoying a breakthrough campaign with the Spanish giants, making 39 appearances in all competitions and scoring eight goals, including six in La Liga. 

The striker reunites with Álvaro Arbeloa, who coached Garcia during his time at Real Madrid before leaving the Bernabeu to take charge at Fulham earlier this summer.

Spanish reports suggest the Premier League club have paid around £34 million for the highly-rated forward, while Real Madrid are believed to have retained a 30% sell-on clause.

Joining him at Craven Cottage is fellow Spaniard Cesar Palacios. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder made five senior appearances for Real Madrid, all as a substitute, after breaking into the first team under Arbeloa. He has also represented Spain at under-20 level.

The double signing continues Fulham's rebuilding under their new head coach as they strengthen their squad ahead of the new Premier League season.
