After Saturday's high-intensity DFB-Pokal game at SV Sandhausen (4-2), Monday was used as a recovery day. The Red Bulls were back in training on Tuesday as they started preparing for Friday night's clash with FC Bayern to kick off the new Bundesliga season.

Tuesday's session saw the players do some running, complete various drills and work on their team spirit. Ole Werner was able to welcome back Tidiam Gomis (ankle ligament injury) and Andrija Maksimović (dead leg) to team training, with the pair now able to complete part of the session.
