Ryan Taylor reports for Football.London that Edwin and Holger Quintero were at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night for Arsenal’s Champions League semi-final second leg victory over Atletico Madrid, joined by their father and representatives Carlos Andres Teran and Matheus Assaf.
The teenagers sat behind the Arsenal bench, and they’re due to remain in north London until May 13th.
The duo aren’t set to join Arsenal officially until they turn 18 in August 2027, but they’ve come over for some training, and to get a taste of the club. They could have hardly picked a better occasion to be at the Emirates!

Taylor adds that the Quinteros will largely train with Arsenal’s youth team, but they’re also expected to take part in senior training sessions before returning to Ecuador.
Arsenal are reportedly in frequent contact with the duo’s current club Independiente del Valle, putting together a detailed plan to ultimately integrate them at the Premier League club.

The brothers recently impressed with the Ecuador u17s at the South American u17 Championship, with Holger making four starts and Edwin two.
Holger scored in the opening 2-1 win over Paraguay, and won a free-kick (taken by Edwin) leading to the other goal. Holger then provided an assist for the winner in the third group match against Uruguay, before Edwin scored an excellent goal in the final group game against Chile.
Though Holger scored another goal against Argentina in the semi-finals, their opponents struck late to win 3-1 and eliminate Ecuador. Regardless, it was a strong showing overall.
