Gabi Zanotti returns from Club World Cup with notable shift in Corinthians scoring by country | OneFootball

Gabi Zanotti was a standout for Corinthians at the women's Club World Cup, striking the semi-final winner against Gotham FC and cancelling out Arsenal's 1-0 lead in the final.

According to Meu Timao, her semi-final goal took her to two goals against United States clubs for Corinthians, more than her tallies versus Uruguayan, Bolivian and Colombian sides, one each.

It is a quirky split given Corinthians have faced United States opposition only twice, and she scored in both. Beyond Gotham, she found the net against Kansas City Current in the 2025 Teal Rising Cup final, which the Brabas lost 2-1.

Her strike against Arsenal marked her first for Corinthians against a team from outside the Americas. It also refreshed her list of international victims by country.

That list now reads: Argentina four, Paraguay three, Venezuela and Ecuador two apiece, United States two, and single goals against England, Uruguay, Bolivia and Colombia.

With Zanotti available, Corinthians have another final this weekend, facing Palmeiras at Arena Barueri on Saturday at 16:00 in the Supercopa do Brasil.
