Gabigol trains with squad and could face Flamengo for Santos | OneFootball

According to Coluna Do Fla, Gabigol trained with the Santos squad and could be involved against Flamengo in the 10th round of the Brasileirão on Sunday.

The forward had been sidelined by a right calf injury but completed Friday's session at CT Rei Pelé. His clinical and physical status will continue to be assessed.

Santos hold a final workout on Saturday morning before travelling to Rio de Janeiro. Cuca will use that session to decide whether to name Gabigol in the matchday group.

Cuca already knows he will be without Neymar, who collected his third yellow card in the last round against Remo. Rony is also suspended.

Flamengo are looking to respond after a 3-0 defeat to Bragantino. Erick Pulgar misses out through suspension following his red card in the previous round.

Saúl Ñíguez remains absent as he continues rehabilitation after surgery on his left heel. Bruno Henrique, with pubalgia, and Alex Sandro, with a muscle injury, are doubts.

Kick-off is 17:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã.
