Arsenal smashed five goals while conceding just one against Crystal Palace in the Premier League to maintain their winning streak. Their next game is scheduled against Ipswich Town in the league at home on Friday night.
The Gunners are third on the points table with just six points off the table-toppers Liverpool after 17 rounds of play. Hence, Mikel Arteta’s men will aim for nothing less than three points out of this fixture and continue to challenge for the league title.
Defence
David Raya made some good saves in the previous game and he should be motivated to keep a clean sheet this week. Jurrien Timber has been doing well as the left-back in the absence of Ben White and continues right there.
William Saliba had an off day against Crystal Palace and he will look to redeem himself this week. He forms the heart of the defence Gabriel once again. 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly might find himself unlucky to not get a place in the XI as Riccardo Calafiori is fit again.

Midfield
Declan Rice is expected to return and will have the company of Martin Odegaard in the middle of the park. Mikel Arteta might also prefer Mikel Merino to form the trio ahead of Thomas Partey.
Attack
The Gunners dealt a major blow when they came to know that Bukayo Saka had torn his hamstring and would be sidelined for many weeks. To fill his position, Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri are amongst the contenders but Gabriel Jesus should get the green light.
Kai Havertz is expected to return as the number nine with Leandro Trossard operating on the left wing.
Raheem Sterling (knee), Ben White (knee) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) are sidelined due to injuries apart from Bukayo Saka.
