The Gunners are next lock horns with Manchester United at home in the Premier League. Though Mikel Arteta’s men will be the hot favourites going into the fixture, they shouldn’t underestimate the new Ruben Amorim’s United.

Defence

David Raya was excellent against West Ham United despite seeing two goals finding the back of the net. He will have a key role to play against the United. Right-back Jurrien Timber is also certain to be seen in the starting lineup.

While William Saliba continues to be at the centre of the defence, the same cannot be said about Gabriel Magalhaes. The latter had to be taken off at the break and is highly doubtful for this clash. In his absence, Jakub Kiwior should make it into the XI. No change at the left-back spot as Riccardo Calafiori carries on his display there.

Midfield

Mikel Merino, Thomas Partey and Myles Lewis-Skelly are all doubtful for this fixture. It means Jorginho will line up alongside Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in the middle of the park. The trio will have to dictate the flow of the game to keep the United’s attackers in check.

Attack

Mikel Arteta can swap Leandro Trossard for Gabriel Martinelli on the left flank for this game. However, don’t expect him to make another change in the attacking lineup. Both Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka are instrumental in the team’s success.

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also sidelined for a long period due to knee injuries.
