Gabriel Menino suffers right thigh injury, expected to miss Santos’ next games | OneFootball

Gabriel Menino has sustained a muscle injury to the back of his right thigh and is expected to miss Santos’ upcoming matches against Remo and Flamengo.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the midfielder left training on Tuesday with pain, underwent tests on Wednesday morning that confirmed the issue, and has begun rehabilitation with the club’s physiotherapy team.

Since joining on loan from Atlético-MG in January 2026, Menino has made 14 competitive appearances and scored two goals, featuring in the Campeonato Paulista and the start of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

He started in Cuca’s only game in charge so far, operating wide on the right, though in recent sessions he had not been among the likely starters.

Santos face Remo on Thursday 2 at 19:00 at Vila Belmiro, in the ninth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
