Gabriel Moscardo, the Corinthians academy graduate now owned by Paris Saint-Germain and on loan at Braga, watched Corinthians’ 2-0 Libertadores defeat to Argentina’s Platense from a box at Neo Química Arena on Wednesday night.

According to Meu Timao, he was accompanied by goalkeeper Felipe Longo and his younger brother, Miguel Moscardo, who is in Corinthians’ under-17s and started for the youth teams in 2025.

Moscardo progressed quickly at Corinthians, lifting the Copa Paulista at under-14 and under-16 level, and the Campeonato Paulista under-17.

In 2023, aged 17, he was promoted by Vanderlei Luxemburgo and made his debut in June against Liverpool of Uruguay in the Libertadores. He played 27 times for the first team and scored one goal.

At the start of 2024 he joined Paris Saint-Germain for €20 million, R$ 107 million. He then underwent surgery on his left foot to correct a bone issue, spending recovery spells back at Corinthians and later at Reims, where he featured rarely.

This season he has been on loan at Braga, Europa League semi-finalists, and was mainly used from the bench. With that deal ending in June, he should return to Paris Saint-Germain unless he is moved to another club.

He is part of Corinthians’ golden generation alongside Pedro, Felipe Augusto, Wesley, Guilherme Biro and João Costa, a group that has brought in almost R$ 300 million.
