Gaiman Fútbol Club have unveiled Isaías Aberasturi as head coach of the senior side ahead of the 2026 Torneo Clausura of the Liga de Fútbol Valle del Chubut. According to SuperDepor.com, the unveiling at the Villa Deportiva featured club president Guillermo Krebs, assistant Martín Romero and fitness coach Lautaro Robles.

In principle, Aberasturi would take charge in July, when pre-season begins. Before that, Gaiman will contest the Copa de Plata final against Alumni, the first leg is this Saturday in Madryn, with the return in Gaiman.

In the first half of the season he led Deportivo Roca de Rawson, delivering strong results. He reached the quarter-finals of the Apertura in the Liga del Valle and finished as a finalist in the Clasificatorio Provincial for the Torneo Regional Amateur.

Previously, he worked at Huracán de Trelew, Jorge Newbery de Comodoro and Defensores de La Ribera. With the capital side he won two valley football titles, the Torneo Apertura 2022 and the Torneo Apertura 2023.

The appointment frames Gaiman’s push into the Clausura, while immediate attention remains on the Copa de Plata decider. Club schedules and staffing are aligned for July as Aberasturi prepares to begin his tenure.
