Liverpool will face off against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday as they hope to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds suffered a tough 2-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways this weekend.
Arne Slot will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this game. Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Joe Gomez could all play from the start of this clash.
Giorgi Mamardashvili will function in goal for the Reds after conceding two goals in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.
Joe Gomez will fill in as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Andy Robertson and Jeremie Frimpong will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch will operate as the holding midfielders as they try to make life tough for the home side at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Florian Wirtz, Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of the Liverpool attack. All three of them need to link up with each other well if the Reds are to secure a win this weekend.
Curist Jones and Rio Ngumoha will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Cody Gakpo will lead the line for Liverpool up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace on the offensive end of the field.
Alexander Isak will have to be content with a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
