Galatasaray have entered the race for Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard, with interest gathering pace in Türkiye, according to Turkish-Football.com.
The champions are prioritising the Belgian as they refresh their attack after the domestic campaign, viewing him as a potential successor to Dries Mertens, who could take a reduced role or depart.
The move sets up an Istanbul tussle, with Beşiktaş also keen on the 31-year-old. TeamTalk reports that Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants Trossard’s versatility and Champions League know-how.
Galatasaray believe their pull, including the chance of Champions League football and a stronger wage offer, could tip the balance and bring him to Rams Park.
Arsenal value his impact, with Mikel Arteta calling him a "massive weapon". Trossard delivered 19 goal contributions in the Gunners’ 2025-26 Premier League title win, including a decisive strike against West Ham during the run-in.
He is entering the final year of his deal, which could run to June 2027 if an extension clause is activated. With a younger left-winger targeted, such as Nico Williams, Arsenal may listen to offers of €20-25 million (£17-21m).
A switch to Istanbul could offer Trossard a starting role at a major European club while competing for trophies. Galatasaray scouts are reportedly impressed by his ability to play wide, as a False 9 or as a creative No 10.
