Galatasaray are exploring a loan move for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, according to Turkish-Football.com.

The Istanbul club are evaluating the feasibility of bringing the 25-year-old to RAMS Park, amid continuing speculation over his long-term future at the Bernabéu.

The proposal centres on a temporary switch rather than a permanent deal, which would allow the Süper Lig champions to add elite quality without a sizeable transfer fee.

Valverde’s Uruguay team-mates at Galatasaray, captain Fernando Muslera and midfielder Lucas Torreira, are understood to be involved, with both believed to have contacted the player.

If it materialises, the move would rank among the most high-profile loans in recent Süper Lig history, bringing a Champions League winner to Türkiye.
