Fanatik reports that Galatasaray have accelerated their pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt’s 20-year-old Can Uzun, with the player signalling approval for a summer move to RAMS Park. The push follows the end of Türkiye’s recent international schedule.

The report says Okan Buruk views Uzun as a priority for the 2026/27 campaign, initially for the number 10 role. His ability to operate off the left or as a second striker, and his homegrown status, would aid Süper Lig squad planning.

The report adds that personal terms are effectively in place with family approval, leaving negotiations with Frankfurt as the main hurdle. Frankfurt initially highlighted a €60 million release clause and sought to use the World Cup window to increase competition.

Galatasaray are preparing a package worth around €35-40 million as they look for middle ground. Uzun posted 11 goals and 7 assists in 38 games for Frankfurt before the international break.

With national-team duties complete, he is expected to hold face-to-face talks with Frankfurt before his summer holiday. He is set to request the club reduce their demands to help facilitate a move to Istanbul.
