It was a relatively quiet game for both sides, with spells of goal scoring moments sprinkled throughout the first-half.

West Ham pressed us high up and looked to force mistakes, but our back-line stood solid with Jade Rose proving crucial in defence.

We entered a stalemate in the second half as both sides saw spells of possession, with West Ham going the closest.

City continued to press for a second as the game grew, with Laura Blindkilde Brown going close as the clock ticked towards full-time.

With the goal open in front of her, she struggled to keep her effort down as it sliced over the bar and our first-half goal was the difference between us and the Hammers.
