After a ten-minute spell of Chelsea pressure, we doubled our lead against the run of play as Bunny Shaw was too strong for Naomi Girma before poking past Hannah Hampton.

Kerolin, City’s standout performer, added a third when she lifted the ball over Hampton on the counter, before completing her hat-trick from Lauren Hemp’s cutback.

Alyssa Thompson clawed one back for the visitors in the 68th minute, but it would only act as a consolation goal, with Vivianne Miedema heading home from a Kerstin Casparij corner to restore our four-goal lead.
