Andrée Jeglertz, his staff and players’ preparations for the Manchester derby were under way with the Blues’ trip across the city coming into view.

City lock horns with the Red Devils on Saturday 28 March, with kick-off scheduled for 13:30 (UK) as our Barclays Women’s Super League pursuit continues.

Jeglertz’s side continue to sit at the division’s summit with an eight point advantage on second placed United as we approach the final four top-flight matches of the season.

Mark Skinner’s team, meanwhile, will be aiming to dampen City’s spirit and prevent us from doing the double over them this season.

Goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp saw us beat the Reds 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Jeglertz’s side are anticipating another tough challenge in our pursuit of the title, which was reflected in our hard work at the City Football Academy.
