Gary Neville praised Benjamin Sesko after his superb brace in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw against Burnley last night.
Burnley scored the opener in the 13th minute after a heavily deflected own goal by Ayden Heaven.
The Clarets kept the lead until half-time, but Sesko restored parity with an emphatic finish in the 50th minute.
The Slovenian added another on the hour mark with a sweetly timed low volley following Patrick Dorgu’s cross from the left.
United were denied a comeback victory after Jaidon Anthony equalised, but Sesko’s performance was a big positive for the visitors.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “Bingo time for Benjamin Sesko. We’ve not seen him smile much, and his teammates are revelling in it with him.
“He’s got in between centre-backs all night, and he does it again. That’s a really good finish. Manchester United have been really good in this second half.”
Sesko has endured a difficult start to life in England since joining United for a £74 million fee last summer.
The young striker has faced criticism for failing to score goals, but his superb brace against Burnley will do his confidence the world of good.
