Regarding player retention, Lorenzo Pellegrini appears destined to remain at Roma, despite his expiring contract and high salary.

The chemistry between the captain and Gasperini is solid, so much so that the coach considers Pellegrini the most technically gifted player in the squad, second only to Dybala.

Contract renewal negotiations could lead to a two-year contract with a reduced salary compared to the current agreement.
