Monday's Serie A encounter was a special match for Federico Gatti, who was fielded for the 37th time this season by Coach Thiago Motta in the home match against Hellas Verona, as he made his 100th appearance for Juventus. The centre-back becomes the fourth player in the squad to reach this milestone after Manuel Locatelli, Weston McKennie and Dusan Vlahovic.
Purchased in January 2022, Gatti remained on loan until the end of that season at Frosinone, joining the Bianconeri in the summer of 2022. From then on, he managed to carve out space for himself and earn the trust of the technical staff, becoming the player who has spent the most minutes on the pitch so far this season (more than 3,000 minutes played).
His 100 appearances have come with seven goals and two assists, from a player who has shown he can be useful and decisive both defensively and offensively.
Congratulations, Fede!
