It was a special day at Juventus and specifically for Federico Gatti who, at the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre, had the honour of receiving the ‘INSIDE THE SPORT 2025’ National Award.
An award that the Juventus defender earned thanks to the opinion of a Technical Jury composed of prestigious names, and journalists who identified Federico as the ideal person to receive this career award for his technical and moral qualities.
Gatti, in fact, has demonstrated from the beginning of his career that tenacity and hard work always pay off. His story is an example of resilience: before joining our club in 2022 and making his debut with the national team, Federico played for several years in the lower leagues, climbing season after season up the hierarchy of Italian football - amateur and professional - until he reached Serie A.
Once he arrived at Juventus, Gatti did not rest on his laurels and worked hard to continue growing, and in a short time he became a staple on the pitch - where, just this season, he reached and surpassed 100 appearances with our jersey, even wearing the captain's armband in some matches - and in the locker room, highlighting his footballing and human qualities.
Congratulations, Federico!
"It is a beautiful award for sure, I am really happy and I want to enjoy this special day. To those guys who, like me, have the dream of playing in Serie A, I say never give up and push yourself beyond your limits. Personally, I have had the good fortune to meet incredible people along my path, from amateur to professional football. People who, through their teachings, have allowed me to get where I am today. How am I feeling now, after the injury? I'm better, I'm trying to get back as soon as possible. In the next few days I should start running again and I hope to be able to help my teammates in this final stage of the season. There are four games to go before the end of the season and in the next few weeks we have two very important and fundamental away games - against Bologna and Lazio - in terms of qualification for the next Champions League. It hasn't been an easy season, but difficult moments help us grow. Coach Igor Tudor? He played for many years at Juventus, he knows the environment and immediately imposed himself with personality."
