Francesco Camarda has had a very positive international break as he returned to scoring with the U19 Italian national team, and now he has Juventus in his sights.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) write this morning, Camarda managed to score two goals in three games in the last 10 days for coach Bollini’s U19 Azzurrini. The team passed the qualifying round for the next European Championships with full points in the process.
As a result, they have now gained access to the Elite phase where it will be necessary to complete the work in the coming international breaks. Camarda will therefore return to Milan fired up and ready for the rest of the season.
The 16-year-old now hopes that there may be another call-up to the first team for the match against Juventus on Saturday at 18.00 CET. Against Cagliari he started but now Alvaro Morata is back and Tammy Abraham is in better condition.
Despite this, it is also true that Luka Jovic continues to have problems with pubalgia (lower back pain) and for this reason a third striker on the bench could be useful for Fonseca.
What about the Futuro? It is unlikely that Camarda will play tomorrow – at least from the start – for Daniel Bonera’s side against Pescara in the rearranged game, but it is possible that he could be there on Sunday against Sestri Levante.
