Sky Germany reports that Lutsharel Geertruida passed his medical with the reigning Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven earlier today and is close to joining on loan.
Contract documents are being finalised and exchanged, with only the signatures outstanding.

The agreement with parent club RB Leipzig includes a purchase option should PSV choose to trigger it.
Geertruida joined Leipzig from Feyenoord in August 2024 for €20 million, but his time in Germany has been far from smooth.
He made 24 Bundesliga appearances that season, then joined AFC Sunderland on loan last September for the 2025-26 campaign.
