Gençlerbirliği stun Trabzonspor with late double | OneFootball

Gençlerbirliği beat Trabzonspor 3-0 in the Süper Lig in Trabzon, rising from 15th to 14th and ending the hosts' five-match home unbeaten run.

Adama Traoré headed in from close range in the 45th minute after a fine cross by Metehan Mimaroğlu.

After the restart, Ricardo Velho kept the visitors in front, tipping away Paul Onuachu's header (59.) as Trabzonspor pushed for a leveller.

Substitute Rahim Dursun then teed up Franco Tongya to sweep home from the centre of the box (88.). In the third minute of second half stoppage time, Mimaroğlu finished a fast break to wrap it up.

Trabzonspor saw 63.3% possession and 11 attempts but could not convert pressure into goals. Gençlerbirliği mustered 13 attempts and found the decisive edge late.
