Genoa in pursuit of Pisilli for January | OneFootball

Daniele De Rossi is a great admirer of Niccolò Pisilli and is ready to bring the talented Giallorossi player to Genoa.

The 2004-born midfielder isn’t finding much playing time under Gian Piero Gasperini, but he’s had the opportunity to showcase his talent in the Under-21s.

Under ‘DDR’, the midfielder has made just two appearances for the Giallorossi, totaling 134 minutes, but the 2004-born midfielder has clearly impressed him in training, and the coach believes he’s the right man to revive Genoa. The final decision, however, rests with Gasperini.

With the departure of Neil El Aynaoui and Evan N’Dicka for the Africa Cup of Nations, Niccolò Pisilli has the opportunity to climb Gasperini’s ladder.

As reported by Matteo Moretto, however, Genoa is strongly targeting the young talent’s loan, and this would also be an opportunity for the Giallorossi: keeping him on the bench makes little sense.

The midfielder will soon have the chance to shine, and December will be the month of truth, but a reunion with De Rossi is tempting.

Furthermore, Roma is reportedly interested in another Genoa player, and discussions could culminate in a loan swap to satisfy the two coaches.
