Germany boss gives fresh injury update on Nathaniel Brown ahead of Paraguay clash | OneFootball

Rudi Völler is optimistic Nathaniel Brown will be fit for Germany’s World Cup round of 32 meeting with Paraguay on Monday, according to BuLi News.

The Eintracht Frankfurt left-back started Germany’s first two matches, then sat out Thursday’s 2-1 defeat to Ecuador as a precaution.

Brown has been managing an adductor problem, but Völler said on Saturday he should be available for the knockout tie.

He explained that the group are hoping Brown is ready by then, adding there are still two days remaining and he expects the defender to train today.

If Brown is not passed fit, David Raum would be ready to step in again, as he did against Ecuador.
